CHAPTER PROFILE

The West Michigan Chapter is a chartered local chapter of the International Facility Management Association, an organization of over 18,200 facility professionals. The chapter meets the third Wednesday of the month at 3:30 in the Applied Technology Center (See map below) on the campus of Grand Rapids Community College. The chapter has enhanced the services offered by IFMA national by offering opportunities for professional growth, some of which include: speakers, tours and networking.

Our attendance has grown by 100% in the last few years. The current membership of this chapter hovers around 120 professionals. Of our total membership 75% are professional members and 25% are associates which includes vendors and sponsors .

It can be said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The West Michigan Chapter of IFMA has taken this seriously through it's production of a video that outlines the activities and programs. Click here to view.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The West Michigan Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is a professional organization which promotes the advancement of the facilities management profession at the local level by providing opportunities for education and creating an environment that encourages its members to share knowledge and experiences.

OUR GOALS

1. Promote and support the success of our members through education, information, communication and networking.
2. Advance the visibility and value of the FM profession.
3. Advance the chapter through growth in membership.
